Former governor of Taraba state, Danbaba Suntai Suffers Stroke, Abandoned By Associates


Former governor of Taraba state, Danbaba Suntai, who was involved in a plane crash while in office is reportedly down with stroke.
Suntai who has been keeping up with his medical appointments in the United States of America (U.S.A) before now has also been abandoned by his close associates due to his illness.


The medical bills of Suntai were being handled by the former governor of the state, Alhaji Garba Umar, who was Suntai’s deputy, but the present governor of the state, Darius Ishaku, has been unable to meet up with the payments.
Splendour Magazine however gathered that the medical bills will now be taken care of by the governor of Adamawa state, Mohammed Jibrilla Bindow.
Coordinator of the Taraba Peoples Assembly Martins Andekin in an article titled ‘Let’s pray  for Governor Danbaba Suntai’ lamented that those who got political favours from Suntai has abandoned him, as his health deteriorates daily.
