Patoranking was announced as the winner of the ‘Best New Act Transformed by Absolut‘ category at the MTV Africa Music Award (MAMA) 2015.
The event which took place on Saturday 18th July 2015 at South Africa’s
Paradise City, Durban celebrated successful African musicians and
achievers who have made the most impact on youth culture throughout the
year.
The Absolut Vodka
category – ‘Best New Act Transformed by Absolut’ celebrated new talents
showcasing the essence of innovation and creativity. The category won by
Patoranking, featured five nominees from across Africa, with the aim of
driving exposure for these acts outside their domestic markets.
The MAMA 2015 showcased electrifying performances from some of Nigeria’s finest artistes including 2Face, Yemi Alade, P-Square, D’banj, Seyi Shay and more. International stars – Neyo and Jhene Aiko also gave amazing performances.
