Lagos Government Seals Off Pension Office For Engaging In Waste Burning (Photos)

 

The Lagos State Government has sealed off the Ikorodu road office of the NLPC Pension Fund Limited, Igbere TV reports. Igbere TV learned that the building was sealed off for engaging in waste burning, an act said to be an environmental offence in Lagos.

This was disclosed by the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) in a tweet sighted by Igbere TV on Sunday. “Today, we sealed the NLPC Pension's office at Ikorodu Road, for engaging in waste burning, a serious environmental offence.

“We urge all residents and businesses in the state to desist from acts capable of endangering human health and well-being”, the statement read.
