This weekend marks the summer's second royal wedding. Beatrice Borromeo is set to wed Pierre Casiraghi, the son of Monaco's Princess Caroline, in a civil ceremony in Monaco (followed by another religious event and corresponding party next weekend on the Borromean Islands, a luxurious spot owned by her family). If you couldn't guess by the whole private island thing, the bride-to-be is from an aristocratic Italian family. This is not the case of a commoner catching the prince (lile Sofia Hellqvist and Kate Middleton).
Along with being seriously stylish, the bride has major brains. She graduated with a law degree in Italy before getting her master's from Manhattan's Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. But since this is a fashion site, let's take a closer look at Borromeo's style.
Borromeo chose a fitted white sundress, wedges, and a chunky necklace for an event this summer with her future in-laws. The occasion? Her fiancé's uncle, Prince Albert, was celebrating ten years on the Monaco throne
.
At the ball the year prior, she went princess-like in a peachy Armani ballgown.
