The three suspects were said to be moving suspiciously around
the market area and the traders alerted the police officers stationed at
the area, Daily Trust reports.

Zakari Ya’u Adamu, chairman of shoe sellers at the market said: “We
divided ourselves into groups and went after them. At the beginning,
they were trying to resist our interrogation, but when they noticed that
some youths were ready to attack them, they cooperated. One of them was
found with five sim cards while the other was found with four.”
He explained that one of the suspects upon interrogation claimed
to be an aide to the sacked chairman of Qua’an Pan local government
area but when they got to the Terminus police station and they all wrote
contradictory statements.
