Lagos Grassroot Politician,tony Nwulu Pays Hospital Bills Of 200 Patients (pics)



Hon. Tony Nwulu, Member House of Representatives, representing Oshodi/Isolo Federal Constituency II Lagos State, one the People Democratic Party (PDP) candidates who pulled an upset on the ruling All Progressive Party in the last election. He is said to be pulled the feat due to his popularity as a grassroot Politian.

The non-indigenous politician in his usual surprising manner paid an unscheduled to the Isolo General Hospital yesterday, July 15, 2015, and once again demonstrated why he loved by the ordinary people.


He visited all the wards of the hospital which admitted about 200 patients some of whom have been discharged but detained due to inability to pay their stipulated bills. Hon. Tony volunteered to offset all their bills, including the prenatal patients which runs into millions in naira.

In addition, he gave money to six other patients who couldn’t afford their prescribed drugs as some of the drugs were said to cost N68,000 for a single dose. Moved by the plight of most of the patients, he gave out N10,000 and N30,000 respectively to all the patients in the hospital.

Hon. Tony had during the last general election, promised to make the welfare of his constituents his priority. In keeping to his campaign promises, Hon. Tony ensures he touches base with his constituents by making spontaneous appearance at key places that afford him the opportunity to interact directly with members of his constituency.


One of the beneficiary Adetutu Akiola who is to undergo surgical operation shed tears of joy as she termed the honourable ‘God sent’ as her operation was delayed due to lack of funds, but now God has answered her prayers.
