Justice Ibrahim Buba has reportedly ordered the National
Drug Law Enforcement Agency to immediately vacate Buruji Kashamu’s
residence.
The order was issued on May 26, Tuesday, with the justice saying that the status quo must be maintained, The Nation reports.
The saga started on Saturday, when the NDLEA laid siege on Kashamu’s residence. Since then the senator-elect, wanted by the US authorities on suspicion of drug trafficking, had been under house arrest over the extradition case.
