Victor Umeh Holds Mass In His Home To Mourn His Sister - PICS


A special holy mass was yesterday (Sunday 20th March 2016) celebrated in the Chapel of Adoration in the home of Chief Dr Victor Umeh to mark the palm Sunday and special prayers said for the repose of the soul of Mrs Modesta Adaku Alado and for the family who mourn her death.... The mass co-celebrated by Rev. Fr. Cosmos Ebebe and Rev. Fr. Peter Uzoezie was attended by members of both families (Umeh and Alado) as well as friends and relatives.


Victor Umeh who broke down in tears weeping profusely for minutes and joined by many within and outside the Chapel -lamented the pains the family has been through since the demise of their first sister who doubled as their mother (after the death of their mother) and thanked the people who were present to mourn with them and those who has been writing to the family as well as those sharing her pictures and consoling the family through the internet.

The mass was followed by visitations by various prominent personalities including the Deputy Governor of Anambra State His Excellency Dr Nkem Okeke and wife; the Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Harford Oseke; Traditional Prime Minister of Neni, Chief T. Enukeme (Tonimas ) and others....
