The Ooni of Ile Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, hosted the king of Juju music, Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye, popularly known as King Sunny Ade as he celebrated his 70th birthday. Born on 22nd September, 1946 to Prince Samuel Adegeye of the Ondo Royalty, KSA, had a musical focus of royal proportions set for him from the beginning.

A Boeing 747 cargo plane by UNICEF arrived Abuja on Sunday with $1.3million worth of lifesaving supplies for internally displaced persons in northeast Nigeria. The plane brought in health kits containing essential medicines and health supplies for primary health centres in the states affected by the crisis. The health kits will serve nearly one million people for a period of three months.

Nigeria's minister for agriculture, Chief Audu Ogbeh flagged-off the distribution of sesame seeds this weekend at Otukpo Odu in Benue State.

Sesame also known as 'beniseed' was introduced to farmers’ cooperatives, with over 7,000 members in the locality. A total of 400 bags, each containing five kilograms of sesame, were distributed to the farmers, each in a group of cooperatives.

30 Girls Rescued From Pastor’s Sex Camp In Lagos

 

General Overseer, Tongue of Fire Restoration Ministry, Chukwuma Nkwocha, is now in the custody of police in Lagos for allegedly camping about 30 young girls as sex slaves. The 38-year-old Nkwocha, whose church is located at Sogunle area of Lagos metropolis, was accused of sleeping with the young girls, whose ages range from 10 to 15 years.

The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the arrest of the GO.
