Workers Laid Off By Aliko Dangote Companies Protest In Lagos (Video)

Workers of Dangote Cement Transport who were disengaged from duties on February 4, 2017, stormed the firm’s head office on Thursday to demand their entitlements and compensation for service rendered for the company for around eight months.

The workers who got into Dangote Cement through a Truck Ownership Scheme advertised by the company in April 2015, decried the acts of Dangote Cement management, which is to swindle innocent Nigerians by using them to work without appropriate payment.

Mr. Abubakar Ibrahim, the Chairman of Forum of Dangote Cement Truck Officers revealed that aggrieved workers have made their demands known to the company through their lawyers and they will not back down until their request are fully met.
