Peter Obi Donates Buses To Agulu Youths, N20m To 20 Agulu Villages


Former Gov of Anambra state Mr Peter Obi urged young people to ignore the cynics telling them they cannot change the world as he addressed the guests in a town hall-style meeting in Agulu.
Speaking at the 2016 Agulu town hall meeting at the Agulu town hall,Agulu. Mr Peter shared his optimism about the future of Agulu and the role of its young people in moulding it.“Agulu youths can be the source of a special dynamism,” said Obi.


15-seven seater buses were given out to youths from Agulu  free of charge as part of the on-going youth empowerment programme in Agulu by Mr Peter Obi.He also donated 20 Million Naira to the 20 villages in Agulu.

Obi pointing out that apart from providing immediate employment for the youths, the vehicles would enhance their status.

Mr Obi, who expressed satisfaction that Agulu ranks high in youth empowerment in the State, said “apart from the free vehicles, That he is training youths on various skill acquisition Programmes across our federation.

Earlier, the National President of Agulu People's union,(APU)Sir Paulinus Anagboso noted that,Mr. Peter Obi  has been in the vanguard of empowering youths because of the importance the Former Governor(Mr Peter Obi)attaches to youths.
