The traditional wedding ceremony between one of Ooni of Ife’s sons, Prince Adegbite Sijuade and media personality Dolapo Oni took place yesterday at Landmark Event centre in Victoria Island, but as guessed the monarch himself was absent. Though there are conflicting reports about if the monarch was still alive or not, but nothing was said about him at the traditional marriage.
What however was visible was the staff of office of the monarch which represented him all through the event. The man that held the staff also stood all through next to the prince and his bride. It was a celebrity studded party as people from all works of life attended.
