Adamawa Gladiators To Mobilise 1million Votes For Sowore. (pictures)

A group known as the Adamawa Political Gladiators (APG) is mobilising one million votes for Omoyele Sowore, presidential candidate of African Action Congress (AAC).

Speaking on behalf of the group to newsmen in Yola on Friday, Tony Sudan Gompwel said he had also printed campaign materials and branded a vehicle towards actualising Sowore's presidential bid in 2019.

"We're targeting one million votes for Sowore, and we're canvassing those votes on a wide range social media platforms,” he said.

"We're developing the Sowore followership, using pyramid styled network of down-line supporters.

Ganduje Drags Kwankwaso To EFCC For Alleged Corruption, Diversion Of Govt

Governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has said his administration is probing his predecessor, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso over multi-billion naira 5 kilometre road projects.

Ganduje, who made this known yesterday while inaugurating 12 campaign committees for his second term bid, said Kano State government had taken the matter to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

He explained that the EFCC had gone far in its investigation into the matter in terms of how the money meant for the construction of 5 kilometre roads in the 44 local governments of Kano state were diverted for Kwankwaso’s presidential campaign in 2015.

Fresh report has it that a train derailed early this morning, near Mangoro bus stop, Agege area in Lagos, with the number of casualties yet to be ascertained. The tragic incident which caused panic among road users, has caused a huge scene in the area.

Emergency officials are said to have arrived the scene of the accident.
