Police Arrest Man With Fake $880,000 Notes In Minna (Photos)

 

The Niger state Police Command has arrested a 37 year old man, Abubakar Suleiman with 88 bundles of $100 dollars fake currency. The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abigail Unaeze, said that he was arrested when he took the money to one Engineer Abdullahi Sambo of Shango area in Minna.

The suspect was reported to the Chanchaga police division by Mamman Manya, one of the relatives of Sambo. The suspect confessed that he was in possession of the fake dollar notes but he was given the money to deliver to Engineer Sambo and he do not know the real owner of the money

Her staying in police cell for the past five days was due to N15,000 bail she couldn't provide.According to Harrison,the IPO (Corporal Ama Okereke) whose picture appears below threatened to charge her to court.Harrison said her continued detention is barbaric, inhumane and abuse of her Fundamental Human Rights by Corporal Ama Okereke.

He further disclosed that two vehicles fully loaded with 220 bags of rice worth N2,420,000 as well as 21 kegs of vegetable oil were also seized by the command.

50-Year-Old Man Rapes 3-Year-Old Girl To Death In Katsina (Photo)

The Police in Katsina have arrested one Abdullahi Sani of Jabiri area, for allegedly raping a three-year-old girl to death.

The police spokesman in the state, DSP Gambo Isah, in a statement on Monday, said Sani was arrested on October, 12. Sani allegedly lured the toddler to an uncompleted building and forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.

The little girl was said to have sustained serious injuries from the act and was rushed to Funtua General hospital where she died the following day. Sani was said to have confessed to the crime.
