Ex Super Eagles Player, Celestine Babayaro Celebrates His 39th Birthday Today


Celestine Hycieth Babayaro (born 29 August 1978 in Kaduna) is a Nigerian former footballer who played as a defender or as a midfielder.

He started his Club career:
Babayaro began his playing career at Nigerian side Plateau United, before moving to Belgian club Anderlecht in 1994, and eventually would make a name for himself, quickly gaining first-choice status although still a teenager. Babayaro set records as the youngest player to make an appearance and to receive a red card in the UEFA Champions League.

The elder brother of Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State, Otunba Emmanuel Fayose, came out unscathed from an an accident he was involved in along Abuja road on his way to Ekiti state. Otunba Fayose was said to have been traveling to witness and celebrate the Udiroko and Chieftaincy title conferred on Ekiti state governor; Ayo Fayose on Friday.

EFCC freezes N8. 6 billion in three accounts owned by billionaire business woman, Bola Shagaya


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has frozen over N8, 627,458,773.36 billion in three accounts of billionaire businesswoman and an associate and friend of former First Lady, Mrs. Patience Jonathan, Bola Shagaya, at Unity bank. According to the Nation, the anti-graft agency is currently investigating the link between Hajia Shagaya and about 10 firms/account.
The billionaire business woman who did not hold any public appointment during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, has dragged Unity Bank to the High Court of Lagos State for allowing the EFCC to Post No Debit (PND) on her accounts without a valid court order. According to Hajia Shagaya, the action taken on her accounts violates Section34 (1) of the EFCC Act, 2004.

$90 Billion Loot: Diezani Finally Breaks Silence


Former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Allison Madueke has finally spoken on several allegations of financial impropriety levelled against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Diezani said she never stole Nigeria’s money. The former Minister made the claim in a statement she issued yesterday. She said the anti-graft agency was taking advantage of her silence to try and convict her in the media hence her response.

Recall that the EFCC had alleged that Diezani Alison-Madueke, a former minister of Petroleum Resources, by an order of a Federal High Court has forfeited $153.3 million to the Federal Government.
